Had a Snap-On Turbo 130.Great little machine, had it for 13 years.Found out after I bought it that on this side of the pond, they were re-cased Cebora units, which I could have got for about a fifth of the price!
Now use a Butters 210.Best all round machine I've used.I believe they were British but are now U.S. owned.Don't know if they are available over there but, worth checking out.

  3. Our maintenance guy in the chassis fab shop has that exact Snap-On welder in his workshop. Our Lincoln MIG and TIG welders in the shop get the crap beat out of them on a daily basis by the students. When the maintenance guy needs to weld something, he will usually go out and drag one of the Lincolns in to use. I've never asked him why, but that thould tell you something...

I've had both Snap-On and a Miller. Both good machines but the Miller was a much better value. Plus I got two welder stores in a bidding war for the sale. I got it at their cost. (Miller 210)

    guys that weld A LOT,

are not going to buy the snap on unit.

if you are one of those that need a payment plan...then maybe snaponner is the choice.

I have that welder. it's been working great for 11 years. the white part seperates and gives you more of an extension I have a large steel boat and has been handy getting inside the boat, you have to extend the ground though.

I've had that same welder pictured for about 3 years now no problems it will weld anything from sheet metal to 1/2 in thick plate. I also bought the tig kit to go with it. Only thing that bummed me out was you can't tig aluminum with it, something about ac/dc or just dc voltage
