Chevy II's

I don't know how I missed this Thread ... my daily driver '63 with Buick hubcaps.
Also, I just installed a mini sub frame kit from CPP. Wow, what an improvement!
I highly recommend it for anyone planning to actually drive one of these little gems.

 

Thought I'd share a couple of pics taken by my buddy Greg last year,
That's his Red '66 4th from the left.
12 cars got together for a cruise around Edmonton - all '66 or '67 Novas, Chevy II's Or Acadians.
Wouldn't that be cool to see roll past

 

Here's my 64. It looks good in this shot but needs alot of work!

 

I agree. My car just got the following:

• CPP mini subframe kit
• 1 inch drop coils
• upper tubular control arms
• idler bearing arm conversion
• spring perches
• leaf spring bushings
• disc brakes w/ power booster
• 5 lug rear end
• 1 inch lowering blocks
• 5 lug wheels and new tires

Yeah I knew they were. I meant cuz it was mine a year ago.

 

Putting a T5 behind the 194ci is the best thing I ever did for the car.
Very drivable now.
Like I've said before - If my 15 year old and I can do this swap in an unheated garage during an Alberta winter with no hoist or power tools
then any idiot can do it!
Any one needing info on this I made a tech page on my Car Domain site (pg12)

 

This one's in Los Angeles. It runs 9.0s. Headed for 8.50s in a couple of months.

 

Little late to this party, but here is mine:

 

Here's my '64. Mostly a beer run car. Has run 13.05 @108.

 

Heres the latest on mine , rebuilding the rear end of my 63 ss.

It's stock Chevy II front suspension with a brace from lower frame rail to lower frame rail.
The drive train currently is a 327, a milder version of the old Super Stock engine.... also has a 'glide behind it.
I'm in the process of turning it back into a street car so we can enjoy it more.

I had a guy yell at me - called me a F'n Moron ( in front of kids ) for having '66 SS caps on a 4 door Like who cares Pal!

 

Over the past 40 years, I've had 46 Nova's. Mostly, 62-67 year cars. Street cars, Drag Car, and show cars. Working on #47 for the wife. 66 SS w/factory vinyl top. Have a shop dedicated to 62-67 Nova's. (B&B Chevy II Performance) Started the shop in 1968. Run it part time now. Still have lottsa' parts and NOS stuff. Just built a new shop behind the house on our property. Still putting it together yet....
