    Just finished up a commission piece. Oil on canvas, 30x40". Wanted to see if anyone knows someone around here that does some hot rod metal sculpture stuff.

    So I'm always lurking around checkin' everyones great work out, but I rarely post. Works been a little slow so I'm been painting my toolbox with one shot. Let me know what you think. First time painting with it e xcept for pinstriping. 006.jpg

    I DID NOT do this...in fact I have no idea who did, but a friend picked it up at a yard sale here in Georgia this past summer for 3$:eek:!!! We're pretty sure she's early 60's vintage. She's painted on plywood and about 5' tall...no stem to the glass, which is probably where the signature(if there was one) might have been. I dig it...thought ya'll might too.

    I'd love to know more history on it, I mean this was close to 10 ' tall with the glass stem. I call her Lucille.:)

    That looks like Charo the "Coochy Coochy Girl" Plays a mean Flamenco guitar along with her obvious other... gifts. Still playing Vegas and the Indian Casino circuit. I don't have more info on the sign but here's a link to her website. http://www.charo.info/

    Damn Gary, I've got a repop body sitting around that I made about 30 years ago. I just don't know if I've got the balls to cut it up. I do like it though-a LOT.

    Greetings HAMBrs.. I have been enjoying every ones work here and finally have the chance too show somthing too. I did this last winter , Its a self caracature of my self and my step van(14"x14" watercolor).Ill start with this one, and join in on the fun in the next few weeks with more..
