Where do I find seals for a 1937 Ford 2-Ton rear axle? The seals we pulled out are shot but have no numbers stamped on them at all. Does anyone have a number I can use to look up a replacement or a vendor that sell them? Thanks.

If you have the ID and OD of the seal, a "good" parts man (oximoron, I know) should be able to look something up for you.

If you can find a place that sells bearings they should be able to match up the seals to something they have in stock. I got mine from a local industrial supplier.

We're getting close. It would be part #1175 in the above pic. It would appear though that Ford used, and still does use, that number for many of their rear axle seals.

    That will do! Thanks!

The #1180 is the snap ring that holds the seal in place. So the larger OD makes sense there. It's prob the same a the reciever groove for the ring.

    Is it 4.56" outside diameter?
If so, the Ford Part number is: BB-1175-C
Or try National (Timken) Part number: 5751

A good NAPA, bearing supply, or early Ford parts supply should have it.

Edit: Should have hit refresh before posting. Looks like you got it.
