Customs caddy project

    i want some opinions. i"m thinking about putting a straight axle in a 1956 caddy coupe Deville.

    Put down the crack pipe and step away from the Caddy - leave it for somebody who will appreciate it for what it is.

    i think that's the worst idea i've ever heard.
    Cadillacs are supposed to ride like Cadillacs.
    Damn...i can only imagine that amount of weight in a Cadillac w/ a straight axle. Damn...

    I say go cat go, imagine a big white cad whit no front bumper an a hi rised strait axle and all pipes out behind the front wheels, makes me goin! everybody askes why. I say why not.all other cads are just plain boring.

  28. There was a 50's lincon with a straight axle at the pile-up this year,
    Very very strange, sorry I didnt get a pic from the front. A lot of people considerd it a monstrosity, although I thought it was kinda different and kinda neat.
    I'll give you my blessing but only if you promise to send me every part that you remove from your caddy. Each and every one.
