12 volt conversion question

    Where do I put the 12 volt to 6 reducer for the heater motor? In the wire going to the heater motor, or in the wire going to the heater switch?

    Assuming that the switch is variable speed, before the switch.

    It shouldn't matter because the current draw of the motor will determine the kind of stress the switch sees. Keep in mind that the 6V switch is able to handle more amperage than a 12V counter part....so theoretically, you should be way fine.
