  3. So, I'm in managment at this at this cool hash house down close-in way, big parking lot, industrial neighbors(uncorkit!),aint I'm a tellin' the owners "them H.A.M.B.sters is a righteous group",lets give'em a deal on services so's they'll tearit up'n shake it on down to the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ for egg n' grits... So as not to assjack the voodoo "meet", I'm just puttin' the feelers out to see if anyone is interested in doin' a same but different kinda' get together?. The place is really cool, and it's in a perfect place for a ruckus,(not that H.A.M.B.ers would cause 1).My boss said he'd be up for some kind of group break, so wadayatink?

Just Moved here from CA and havent seen a hotrod or kustom in about a month. I am gettin the shakes and fellin kind of sick from not being around a car for so long. All my stuff is still there. although I do have my awesome family here. This looks like a bunch of fun. Hope it happens again next month.

Me and a friend went up to portland to pick up a rusty 40 project.
    Man that town is cool!
We got off the plane, it was pouring rain.
took a train/subway downtown where someone had suggested to go.
It looked desolate going by the trailblazers arena,
we figured it to be a dull night.

    Shit the place was packed!
The place was pouring buckets and people were walking around with club clothes on.
Donks and old cars driving around.
In california it sprinkles and everyone runs for cover, not there.
We ended up walking to that voodoo donuts, crazy place
then ended up at Kelly's bar which had a decent band and cool motorcycles.
We found an allnight diner by the chinese garden since we had missed the last train,
it was kinda sketchy by that bridge at night.

Anyway we went back to the airport and passed out inside,
just long enough to get the boot.
The Van rental was a short trek from the airport,
so we walked it along this little river.
It was so green and fresh, way different than down here.

Anyway not to babble but its good to know that there's a thriving hot rod community up there.

    Good times.

    TP

awesome. yessir, when it rains up here-it RAINS! it's all good though because it makes you really appreciate the summer-plus it's always green and nice to look at around here.
if you ever come back up here, hit me up!

When I lived in San Diego, I always thought it was funny how the winter clothes came out when it hit 60 degrees.

That 'green' in the river is from the sewage overflow, and the area downtown is between two superfund toxic sites. Welcome to Portland! :D
