Christmas time at Baileigh......new contest?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by BAILEIGH INC, Oct 30, 2009.

  1. Dear Santa, Romero has been a good boy this year. I didnt kick the dog and the wife is happy. For being such a good boy this year i think he would love to have the new shrinker stretcher. Thank you Santa-Romero

  2. First, It is VERY generous of you to once again offer up good tool!

Sheet metal brake would be first choice closely followed by a cold saw. I agree chassis fab would be a good challenge topic.

  3. I would be happy to have any thing you give me.

No PM needed. The CS-225 benchtop cold saw is $695 and comes with a self centering vice, mechanical coolant pump, 200 tooth blade and the ship weight is 90 pounds, so the shipping charges are totally affordable. We have been selling a ton of them to the "garage guys" out there.

Check out this video, the saw rocks http://www.bii1.com/videos/cold-saw-cs225m-videos.php

All I've seen so far is a "HAMBers wish list"...I waiting for details of the contest...

I thot I had that "winter project" contest won with my '55 Caddy build...but I forgot, this is a traditional "hot rod" site, not a traditional kustom site...if you'd like to see updates to the car, go here:
    http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=329070&highlight=the+best+55+caddy+build

I'd take almost anything Baleigh can make...I'm not that particular...!!!

that cold saw ROCKS! many people do not realize how great they are until they use one for a while, then go back to a regular chop saw.

Cold Saw very nice! But a stretcher/shrinker Break or shear would work. Lets face it, for us anything sheetmetal related is going to be a winner!

    x2

chop saw = sparks, messy, not accurate, go though blades quickly :(

cold saw = accurate, burr free, mill like cut, resharpenable blades :)

I really like the manual punch that you had in one of the initial contests.... cutting holes in metal without drilling would save me alot of time

the cold saw looks great too

    thank you!!

The one thing that every builder should have and probably use the most.
A Manual Sheet Metal Shear. I need one!

    My Request:
Tube bender with a complete set of dies including square (for the Guys workin on replacing wood)

    Brake

    Cold Saw

OR....set a price range....let the winner choose and settel up on the difference in price and shipping (IE Cold saw is $695 with prob $50 shipping....the winner wants a different and larger $800 tool....the winner pays $205 and gets a $50 credit towards shipping)

My wish list would include an English wheel, bead roller, or sheet metal shear.

As others have said, thanks for your generosity!

Combination 3-in-1 Shear, Brake and Roll would be a nice score, 3 tools in one.

but if it's a wish list... I'd like a contest for this Hydraulic Sheet Metal Brake Press - BP-12313 CNC ... you know, Just sayin :)
