I was out there last night. Got there around 8pm and had dinner inside. Didn't leave until around 11:30.

It was great just hanging it and shoot the shit at such cool place.

A big thanx is owed you for your fantastic time lapse shot of the BBBBroiler from across the street. It is now the backdrop on the puter and this ol Harveys cruiser can enjoy a little deja-vu, every day from up here in the cold country.

i went saturday night with my wife and a buddy and had a great time...food/service was great....and i met kevin, got the personal tour of the place and we chopped it up for at least a couple hours after!! thanks kevin for all you have done! will be back in the spring for sure!

 

well since I cant make iit over right away,I bought about 4 bottles of Bobs Big Boy salad dressing at the store as a stopgap until I can roll under the canopy in Downey

 

What kind, or should I say flavor?

We went this past sunday,had lunch,bought some merch. and drove 350+ miles home. It was great but I remember going as a kid and getting a Big Boy comic book. Oh well I guess things change, I'm glad I didn't talk it up to the little girl before hand.

 

It seems like just yesterday we were speaking to Downey city council only days after the previous owners illegally demo'd most of the structure on a Sunday afternoon. Now, its new retro / renovated restaurant is back up AND running. Can't believe it !

Looking forward to helping co organize a huge car show and music event in the near future!

 

so is anyone going today? cruise every wednesday right? ill be there tonight w the girlfriend having dinner, hope to meet some of you there

 

Gotta miss tonight. I'm aiming for next week though...

 

I will be more than happy to drive you there in your Coupe. Almost anything to help a buddy out. I would offer my roadster but it is in pieces and I am sure the ride might beat you up a little.
