So who's going to be the first to build a dragula replica?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by gears-n-grease, Oct 30, 2009.

  1. Saw this in the news "Wal-Mart begins selling discount caskets"

It got me to thinking, is anyone here going to ever build a dragula replica, or has it been done and I missed a thread?

Over the years I've seen several Dragula take-offs at shows all over. Some better than others. There was one at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Illinois one year.

Seen a couple around was never a fan really....I heard Wal-mart is selling caskets online now

  15. We have replicas of both here in bako they were at dragfest I believe or it may have been March Meets. I see the guy cruising the Monsters Coach around to the local Sonic Drive-in from time to time. Pretty interesting the length the fella went to look semi-authentic on both the coach and the Dragula car he made.

Pictures can be found here of the replica.

Some things just aren't meant to be cloned.

That's kind of a scarey thought there. The HAMB doesn't cover the whole Universe. There are things going on out there that don't show up on a computer screen.

So with the Slaw Mart casket deal you could "Save Money and Die Better?"

It was funnier'n hell with Herman holding onto the back of the Dragula at the track and having his platform shoes smoking(on the Munsters show).

  26. There was one at the Goodguys' show in KC about 5 years or so ago.

There is a guy in Wilkes-Barre building a casket-rod. Not really "dragula" clone but it's pretty badass none-the-less.

Lester I do believe his name... i think

of all the "theme" type cars barris built (had built) i think this one has to be the best, plus it was from a killer tv show, if i were to ever clone a theme car this would for surely be the one, its awsome.

heres the best munsters episode ever http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVRBX2pjFpU
