Yeah but last I looked English is the language used on this site. It was cute at first but I don't recall speaking Hindi to that Indian guy that was on here a while back. If you can communicate, even poorly, it is better than alienating the vast majority of people completely, it's just plain rude. I'm very interested in what KAPITAL LETTER KING has to say but he won't tell me.

It's cool and everything to have ties to your ancestry, but on a board where the vast majority speaks one language, forming a little "cliche" with your "Espanol habla amigos" just (as Nads said) alienates everyone else. And that's "no bueno".

not to stir up shit, but if there is a spanish thread going and you use spanish to say something to the effect of, "I like your car, and fuck those idiots that don't like you car"
(I'm paraphrasing since I don't have a full grasp of all the slang.)

You should at least write it in English as well so people can see that you're not hiding anything.

I'm mestizo, that means "half and half" to those who don't speak spanish, so I know a little something about racism, both white AND brown...I don't think what Nads was asking for is too much, some folks don't speak spanish but still want to be in the loop, that's all.
