If may.... ORANGE is the only way to go.

  3. I'm going with '69 Camaro Hugger Orange, a straight axle, Pontiac rearend, biggger, badder small block with a tunnel ram, dual quads and velocity stacks sticking out of the hood. And 15x10" Cragars with Hurst cheater slicks on the rear. Any questions?

Yea....Why do you have to point out that the cheater slicks will be on the rear? Did you think someone may mistaken it for FWD? Or have you put them on the front in the past?:D

OK...How about grey primer with a home-made aluminum box-style hood scoop and a tilt front end? Of course, you would have to opt up to a big block!

Geeezzz are we still stuck on paint? I'd say if ya want it to step out from the crowd of the other trillion or so 55s I'd go for something more Van Nuys Fabulous. Metal Flake Red with a perl white flame or scallop job featuring Led Zeppelin falling down the Stairway To Heaven into hell with Robert Plant out front sucking on a hookah stuffed in a bovine's rear high on angel dust.

Now that would be a gassy gasser, and well worth a look see. Not like just another black 40 Ford, or red 32 roadster.

    Robert:

While you're deciding on a color scheme, just spay on some adhesive, then sprinkle some grass seed on it, water it for a week or so and Waa-La - you've got a fairly unique "paint" job. Kinda like the following:

I think I can guarantee that it would be a crusing SENSATION that would be talked about for YEARS! :)

How about Pepto-Bismol pink? To go along with your "Gasser" theme.

better yet... set it on fire and buy a Pinto. I hear they're faster.

Or go two-tone, purple with a white top, then you can name the car, "Eggplant Parmesan." :D

  15. Gee, that was sooo clever.

Way to tame guys. Step out in style on a couple of hits of of Purple Ozly with a real paint job like this baby. Complete with Robert's favorite, built in Lawn Chairs built in on top.

  18. Flames or scallops on a Gasser'ish style car SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    And should NOT be done....EVER

Nah, It would have to be a Gasser. It's my solution to get rid of all the sponsors, well, except for Eggplant. Which reminds me, maybe that red flake should be purple, yeah, that's the ticket. Purple Haze Paisley Flake. That would be more fitting, but, I'd keep the flame job as described.

Yep, that's a nice shade of purple alright, a hard color to put on a car unless it's just so. To often people f*#k up their cars with some atrocious shade or value of purple. Ever seen Robert William's 32, with an equally disgusting shade of dead bug guts yellow-green. I think Robert should have been eating his eggplant before deciding which purple and green to select.

Note: how much better the purple & green look on the eggplant above, I rest my case!

  27. I think you guys oughta F*&^%g drop it, and EL ROLLO, you can pound that eggplant where the sun don't shine. Make it a vegetarian enima. I thought ya'all were curious about how the car will turn out, I guess I was wrong.
