  11. HEY,
Got my Ins. check. Working on a '64 Olds Pontiac rear end. Car is going in Monday to have the 1/4 fixed. Straight axle then Competition Orange paint is next. Oh and a tunnel ram with 2x4's.

    Baron,
I had a chance to check out your car at epping. Nice ride and great work on the build. I'm considering doing one myself. Also did you see the wheel stand that steve pulled with the rat patrol?

Thanks. Sorry we did not get a chance to meet. I did see Steve's wheel stand ( almost stood it on the back bumper). He just put a new converter in the car and this was the first time out with it(guess it works well!). Back in the pits we took a good look at the front end/suspension and all looked fine( nice to know these MAS axles can hold up to huge wheel stand such as that).

I did not run mine yesterday. Still trying to put a few miles on the motor and get it dialed in a little bit better.
My batteries died in my camera yesterday after 3 or 4 pictures :( . If my memory serves me right, that is Ed Whites Corvette. He has owned it for years. Drives it to the track, puts the slicks on, runs in the 10's ( maybe even in the 9's now)puts the street tires back on and drives it home. I know he use to have a 406 small block in it,but not sure if he is still running that combo. He's been drag racing it a long time and makes it look easy.

  21. Some day soon I hope to be twisting off axles.

  27. Maybe I can put some light on this ROTH car......it was featured in a book named "heres your hobby CAR CUSTOMIZING" edited by Henry Gregor Flesen,1965.this book in detail told of how the 55 was built with a ford 406 and astro chrome slotted wheels.and tangarine orange paint, this book is great it shows in detail the Mysterion being built, fiberglass work and all from the frame up and a lotta things that guys really could do in their own back yard.note on the rear cover is the Trendero...........thanks to my high school for "donating" this book to my collection in 1971 heh heh heh.......
