I remember seeing it in the 70's; it looked like an old T that someone "updated". Is there a signature on the paint?

I would not change a thing, only what you need to get it running. I have a T-Bucket that was built in 1962 and repainted in the '70s. I was going to repaint it but it is too much fun the way it is.

That paint job is ready to party!

  5. That T is AWESOME! thanks for sharing the photos, and don't change a thing on it.

My favorite part of the story was breakfast at the Cle Elum Bakery. I've known the owner since I was a child, he's a car guy and close family friend. I always stop there in the morning, if I'm heading over to the westside.

On the dash of my current 5W , got it from Tom Medley .

The "T" reminds of the one built by Lonnie Gilbertson , that won the AMBR award twice , and is now at the Petersen...........Z

I am about 95 percent sure that an earlier version of that car was in Hot Rod Magazine in the early 60's as feature car...but I haven't been able to locate the issue yet. If i remember right, it was white and from Spokane. I'll keep looking.

Were you thinking of this car ? It was from Spokane and was in the 1962 Portland Roadster Show . Pretty sure this car is still owned by the builder Don Audel........Z

I kinda like it, in a raggety-assed lost puppy kinda way. I'd drive it just the way it is.

    Man that is coooooooooooooool!

Seems like it'd be a shame to cover that paintjob, but it's not like von dutch did it or something.

It'd be cool if you can take it to some shows like that at least, let some guys see it and remember when. It sure takes me back!

It would be cool if you guys can find me a pic or some history on this car, something this wild has to leave some sort of tracks or memories!

  22. Interesting note, I don't remember the car off hand, but I do know someone who might. I'll talk to him tomorrow about the T and see if he knows anything.

Yep, that's the "So Tuff T" is still owned by Don Audel and still a driver to this day.

    Hugh,way to go.

Myself? I would rob all the good parts and sell the rest.
    But I've never wanted a 60's T ...

    The 33-34 5w in the background..now that I want.

Eric, The topic of farming it out was the first thought. This car would have been ignored if it didnt have such parts.
Rich is on a fast track to getting the 34 on the road by the summer. He is in search of a good top section to repair the hack job, so please keep your eyes open. Hugh

Intake looks like a marine or industrial intake. I had a similar one for a Chrysler Hemi motor about 20 years ago.

  28. awesome! that car totally rules! and with a picture of the space nipple on the side...how can you NOT buy it?!?!

I'd love to have that, parked in the garage along side a"van craze" 69 econoline, and a 71 firebird formula....now were talking!
