Love the stance on your truck, and the gasser style absence of inner fenders. The only thing missing to complete the image are the fenderwell headers. The coupe is on the right track too. Good for you knowing what you like.

Spent all day under the hood of my beater '65. Needed a good cleaning, and a PCV valve installed. Didn't want to make any holes in the 'Vette covers so they are hanging on the wall, and these cheap-o import finned aluminum ones have taken their place. A new trio of Alan Grove brackets replaced the other stuff....wanted to space the alt. and compressor a little bit farther out from the center. Sorry for the fuzzy pics. I'd take more but it got dark on me!

Thought y'all might enjoy seeing some pics the freshly rebuilt 327 that was installed yesterday in my '66. The saginaw was also freshly rebuilt. The motor installation was a breeze. The tranny however, was an SOB. Took two hours and 20 SOB's, with three of us wiggling and pushing to get the input shaft guided into the needle bearing pilot bushing. Have a few things to button up, then trailer it down to the exhaust shop to install 2-1/2" pipes with Brockman Steel Packed Mellowtones. Then the cam break in. Here's a few pics...notice the custom sponsored air cleaner.

The left rear exhaust manifold is about a paper thickness away from the firewall...will be pounding it out.

Don't look too close. It's a little tweaked, but fixable. I kinda like it dinged, so not planning to fix it. All things considered I think I'll keep it. Hold on to that kidney. Never know when it will come in handy.

Man, I want something just like that.

Perfect patina, nice shiny wheels, good stance. Perfection.

Its not that bad I got less than 2K in that one and it has 4 wheel disc and drives like a dream. Ive put 1500 miles or so on it since I finished it last month.

Pickd up an old 63 farm truck with a 292, plan is to drop it, shave stuff and paint it dark suede blue with shiny white top with smoothies and white walls. Thinkin about gettin go fast parts for the 292 and using it in a 50 chevy coupe ( 3 carb set up)..... first gotta win lotto or get paid:cool:
