History Bob's Big Boy Broiler Opens In Downey!

WOW,WOW,WOW the power of the people, this must be a shrine to car culture, We must all attend. Whenever I,m in LA I shall go,

 

I'll be hittin it soon, this is like my teen years being relived, man it's sweet!

 

Frenchy 32 stopped by, to ck out the Broiler, he said that he used to cruise it when he still lived in So Cal. It's nice to meet HAMBers and have them give me the low down on the place from back in the day.

Don't forget Wed 28th is the next cruise nite! C-ya there.

Ok Kevin now that you have the Broiler back, time to start on the bowling alley that was across the street and down a little, I used to bowl in a league there in the mid '70s, should be no trouble for you to get that restored

 

I think Roadsterpu and myself are going to roll out tomorrow. Anyone else comin'?

 

Were going tomorrow , it's going to be the 1st time Carol has been in the Roadster !!, no kids with us just like in the 80's

 

I'll be there in the RPU this week.

It was cool last night, literally , Carol came in the roadster , the 1st time she's been in the car , & we did the car hop thing , great service , great food , & the coffee was welcome too .Here are some snaps Randy , we missed you & Barb , get well soon .

 

Okay, was trying some stuff with my camera last night that I had been wanting to try for awhile. Thought the Broil would be the ideal test bed. By the time we got done eating there were just a few cars left to get shots of and Steve pretty well covered it, so I'll just show some others...

Seriously had a real nice and relaxing time last night. We ate inside this time. I didn't get a chance to check out the inside too much last week because it was so packed. Really neat inside! Great to see everyone! And Rob was VIP at our table this week! Thanks man!

First time I've ever messed with the shutter speed on the camera. Pretty neat! I have no idea what I'm doing, but it was fun. HAHA!
