One more' oldguy' proud of your project and your approach to passing along the good parts of our hobby/sport to the young ones coming up. Lots of folks only complain about the younger generation, it is really good to see someone trying to help these kids investigate a new direction in life, something that can teach them new appreciation for the saying' pass it along'......Waldo

This is alot like how the Peter Beater came to be. Help from friends. Terry Simms donated a ton of parts, Brian Wallace welded my chassis up for me, Bill Wallace gave up '40 Ford rear brakes and helped me with the Flatty. Bud, Jim Howe, Denny Carpenter all came over on a Sun and helped me get it running. Without friends, our hobby would suck.

I was VERY impressed with this 1915 Pierce Arrow touring car that was massive! Giant! Here is my friend John (ProtoTypeDesignFlauz) standing next to the beast. <center>

This car was purchased new by a fire department in CA and you can still see their letering on the hood. Amazing is the fact that the car body is CAST aluminum. Ever seen that before? <center>

The college is still working on this very fun looking Model T boat tail speedster. All hand built from scratch. <center>

Well I've gotta knock her out before graduation so I can go enjoy the beaches in California... It's gonna be a challenge but I do love challenges! Thanks again to Vaphead for a kick ass frame!

So who wants to have a weekend scramble and see how much we can knock out on this baby?

  26. Paul,

Cast bodies are rare, but not unheard of- my old boss had a brass era runabout that had a cast cowl. Thanks for the pics!... any more of that T speedster?
