After having a good look at one a few weeks ago with a MII front end, I believe I am going to go that route, and I have also aquired a stock IHC C-1 pickup chassis to modify as needed to use as well. While I was unable to work on it, I have spent my time aquiring a few parts and information to further the project.;)

Me thinks you are right about the S-10 UCA's not fitting with the IH fenders, too.

Here is the MII'd one I mentioned above:

And another...also MII'd, and more HAMB friendly, though I'm now leaning more toward the first for my own inspiration:

Well, I welded the roof back to the cab back last night. Got about 80% finished before I ran out of gas on the welder. Dang it.

First mock up. These fenders may or may not be used, but at least it's got the chop and long hood goin' on! No...the 22.5's are not going to be what stays on it...but they are round, and that's what I was goin' for.

Cool build, Did the truck come with the v8 I saw on the floor in an earlier pic? Looked like a V549 or something. I thought these came with Diamond series. Just curious.

Would luv to see a picture of your Scout, got one my own self.

Forgot to reply...one came with a flathead inline 6, one with an OHC inline 6. The 549's are from other projects. Your Scout looks great! I'm diggin the color on it. My company makes decal stripe kits for Scouts, along with several other products for the 80/800's, and lots more for the Scout II's. We're a Light Line dealer as well. If there's anything you need, let me know!

Nice Scout II. Perfect height and great color. IMO

    Thanks for the kind words.
My Scout is an original Champagne series 65' and the color is as stock as I could get

Not much new to update on this, but I did finally get a little time in on it.

I wouldn't believe this if I didn't see it...but I took some sandpaper on the DA to this door:

And this is what came out:

I couldn't imagine that happening, but it did! These guys are still in business, too. They won't answer my emails, though.

I also tried my hand at straightening out the grille trim. Lots of little homemade tools and time, but it came out good enough for who it's for:

    Quick update...

    Nothing.

I am going to head to PA to pick up a C-1 Chassis to use for it on Monday, though. That will give me something to play with for a while.

More mocking up, this time with a SWB '34 or '35 C-1 chassis. I also acquired a left front C-1 fender to play with. The wheels are just the closest round thing I could grab to slap under the fender. I'm still in need of any and all C-1 fenders I can find, and a good set of hood sides, in case anyone is sitting on something.

And here's what the stock wheelbase and a 5-1/2 foot bed would look like. I think I may go with this, or at least close to it.
