  1. Super show already! Bernie, that is awesome! Gary, another stellar effort from you, as expected. jdustu, those bikes just kill me, and the A sedan is right on. Everyone else, great show, and THANK YOU for sharing your stuff with us mere mortals.

  2. Janne - Great shirt! I finally received my copy of TRJ featuring your artwork; Awesome man!

I also received 'my' T-shirt that I did for Acme Speedshop; it turned out very, very handsome I must say. I'm really impressed with the quality of the shirt as well as the print. Order art and apparel from their online store at www.acme-speedshop.com

Actual shirt with my design on the back:

GaryC -Always nicely done and always look forward to your posts.

Jdustu -Really nice rides. Creative, to see what you see in those little pieces of steel .

    Hey where's Tingler?

Dustin Dirt -I love these. I'm working on something similar myself. I hope to be able to show it next week myself.

Clydsdale -Frank turned out nice. I liked him even when he was just plain wood.

    freebird -interesting, Pocket art.

Dust Devil - nice shots. I see some vertical shots in there...

Ploon -I've got a striped phone myself.

Dutch C - Shirt turned out nice too bad some of the finer details disappear when screening gets done.

Lemorris Nice work. I don't have the patience for doing Illustrator work. Drives me nuts.

Gow -Always love your print work. I still have an itch to get back and do some printing. I used to do some lino work long ago and I am going to get back to it some day.

Thanks for the compliments all on my artwork. Just finished another painting that I'll post shortly.

    Bernie

    Great show guys!

Well the Pileup has been all over the Hamb the Last few weeks. I thought I show a couple of drawings I did from last years Pileup. The first one I called "Sun T" it's a Model T hot rod owned by a teenager. I never had anything like that in high school! The next one is a 35 Coupe I called "SteelHorse" The guy that owned it ( He has since sold it!) he last name is Steel! I didn't know that before Saturday...
I had a blast at the Pileup this year! I got to meet some very cool people and got to hang out with Mr. Norwell, Todd Jones, DeL Swanson, Nick Sinclair, Max Grundy, Keith Weesner, and Jimmy Flitstone!

My Mum likes to play with photos I take at car shows and concerts. So, I guess you could call this a collaborative project?

Well, I thought I would list those that I really liked but after the first page, I realized that I was listing every post :(. So, scrapped the list and will just give a big hand to everyone. Great work as usual.
Here's my contribution. Not real 'artsy' this week, more commercial but you do what brings in the bucks :)

Yeah, he pm'd me! I'm a little slow. There's a reason for the title, but part of it is my confusion...I think lol.

Thanks; I'll keep posting till they pry my keyboard out of .... :)

Question though; where do you find all those gorgeous cars you photograph? We don't see many customs around here. Mostly antiques and classics. Lotta restorers but not many customizers.

If they're not my photos from car shows, they are photos from two of my friends....Kid Deuce and Spike. They both go to a hugh amount of car shows and post their photos on Flickr. I should give thanks and credit to them more often as I really appreciate them letting me use their photos when I run out of mine.
