I'll be there with some of my crew. Bowling Green is a great place! It really is a throw back to the sixites. Somebody want to set up a meet n greet it'd be cool to meet some of the folks we know here.

Looks like another weekend the weather guys are guessing. Looks pretty good for sat, sun. Dry but cool. Thats better than rain and cold.
Looks like I'll be there as a spectator. Pulled the motor to freshen it up...motor is still out and won't have chance to get it back in before this weekend.

leaving at 5:00AM Thursday. Rolling with the Asphalt Angel/Elephant team. We plan to roll in around 4:00PM tomorrow. Will check in with race central. anybody interested in giving me a ride back to town? My old buddy Earl Schieb is meeting me at the Drury Inn, and will drive us out in his Sexy Sixty Friday, but it sure would be great if I didn't have to unhook the truck and drive it to town. Lazy. I will be parking with the Nostalgic Super Stock racers. White Chevy box truck pulling a white enclosed trailer. "Faded Memories Racing" stop over any time and say hello. Look for the Bobwop banner or on the cars.
Last I heard was a chance of rain Sat and clear Sunday. I'm wondering if it would be better to chance it Saturday or wait till sunday??? Maybe both days???
Over the years I've found Google Maps to be more accuate and easy to read. Couldn't be easier to get there I75 south to 71 south toward L'ville Take 265 west around L'ville Then 65 south toward Nashville There are a couple of different exits for Bowling Green depending on where you're staying It's about 3 1/2 hours from Cinci to Bowling Green
I will be there late Friday, most of Saturday and leaving Sunday morning.... off duty and having fun with the lady friend.
If you're coming down 71 south from Cincy, you can take I-265 south (just before you get into Louisville) right over to I-65 south and save some time and gas.
Weather report, Friday, crap, Saturday, more crap, Sunday, NICE! Anyone who'd like a drink or a beer in a non smoking place, go to Fluid Nightclub downtown on the square. No question the best looking ladies in town, too.
Appears that the weather is still anyone's guess, but the temp should be between 48 and 54 on Saturday with about a 20-30% chance of rain. It's been rainy and cold most of the week around this area, but don't let that scare you away. You can come all layered up and peel until you are comfortable. Besides, some of the fine establishments in the area sell a good dose of anti-freeze. If it rains for a bit, the bleachers are covered. If it doesn't rain, it should be another great show! Take care, Flattop
That sucks too as the weather last year could not be more perfect for a car event. I feel bad for you guys
