have a friend who just got back,thought it was going to be a total pay to play event(wife bought the trip for him and her for his b-day)called me thursday on the way in,not even in the building saying "I repent ,I repent, this is going to be great,has been great!" He had a wonderful time down there,great people,great cars,great food,that bastard!

 

I once knew a guy named Jackson. He ran the hardware store on the corner of Main and Barrett, downtown. His wife was short, maybe 5'-11" with size 4 feet. I said hello to her one day when I was getting some pickles from the barrel in the general store. Back then you could get a sarsaparilla for a nickle. A nickle sure could buy a lot back in 1980. Back then I was a young man of 15 years and 3 months. I wanted a car so bad that all I could afford was a penny whistle that cost $2.00. Have you ever seen what an old man looks like naked? i was there a day too late! damn! just got back in town tonight from a good ol' time on the strip. even stayed at the mandalay bay where it was held. saw some of the cars being loaded up yesterday and this morning from out my hotel window. there were some pretty sweet banners that were hanging tried to make a deal with the worker for him to slide me one without luck.
