Finally got the ok to show the Black Widow Merc at some of the bigger shows. For the ones who donot know about this radical merc. Heres a few pic's. It was built about 3 years ago and was only showen at 3 local shows here in socal. We plan to show it at SEMA and then at the GNRS.
Nice work... Wasn't the original "Black Widow" Merc done by Joe Baillon and recently restored up in the Spokane area?
Glad you liked it. At this time we only have a few low quailty pics. Will try to download the build file of this merc from an older computer
nice chop, the body work is beautiful, but the whole spider web thing is killing it.This would like killer as a barris inspired early merc custom.
beautiful! i really like the roof scoop lines flowing into the trunk and the split bumper grill combo! ed
There I some things on that car that I love, and some I do not. I will reserve judgment until I see it in person at SEMA.
We made these bumpers from a 1950 baby lincoln. We pie sectioned and shortened the wrap around tip on the front bumpers. For the rear bumper we narrowed it and also shortened the wrap around tips. Made a frenched lic plate box and graphed a set of 56 chevy wagon over riders on to it.
Really cool car. Hopefully the paint looks better in person. IMHO Paint killed it. Kick ass car though!
