    I'm looking for ideas and inspirations. I have a 35' Dodge. Let's see your 30's Dodges/Desotos/Plymouths.

Cool I like it. Looking kinda bomba. I dig that. You got the glass? Mine is a 36 Plymouth sedan with the smooth back (not touring) 4 door.

There's a huge mopar thread around here somewhere with a lot of 30's mopar stuff.

I think I saw the mopar thread. If I remember it was super long and hard to dig through for just the 30's. You have pictures of your Plymouth? Post them up.

Glass was made for it, just yet to install. I'm researching what rubber it needs.

This car is from another forum but he's been helping me a lot with questions. He is stripping the whole car and doing a lot of work. Real nice guy:

    jgb7038, that car is sweeeeet!!!!!!

I can't believe how so many people are locked into the other more popular makes and never even look at these mopars. The Mopars have some great lines and they just seem to flow from front to back so smooth.

Keep them coming guys & gals.

Yeah, MOPARS of the '30s are definately good-looking and solid! My 35 Dodge sedan looks like yours, 55chieftan, except it has a side mount on the passenger-side front fender. I wonder how common the side mounted spare was? Anybody know? With the sidemount, it's not really a hot rod look but will make a great 'lowrider'. By the way, where do I find the serial number on my 35 Dodge frame?

Here is my 37 D5. Bone stock, 58k original mile, survivor. It's the most fun you could want at 50mph.

The white and gray one is a 35 Dodge. It was a 318, 904, 38 3/4 with 3:23 gears and an F,J & M clip. We drove that on 70,000 miles in 6 years.
The black one is a 39 Plymouth. it had a 3.9 V6, auto and an 8 1/4 with 2:91 gears. We drove that one about 8,000 miles in a couple years. The 35 was a lot more fun. Current (real slow progressing) project is a 48 Plymouth. Gene

Here's my '32 Desoto SC Custom Convertible Coupe. I have to brag a little because it won first in class (pre-1935 Street Roadsters) at the Portland Roadster Show last month. I know it will probably offend some traditionalists, but it's powered by a 3rd generation hemi (5,7L). I also have a 1936 Chrysler Airstream C-7 with a 360 and 727 that I'll be finishing one of these days.

my project: the red 1932 plymouth four door made into a two door delivery.

the car looks rough right now, lots of work ahead, but in the end it'll
be worth all the hard work.

the one in black is a nice 32 plymouth l found online, this is close to what l want mine to look like when finished.

    Later:cool:

If anyone is looking for a project, we have a pretty solid '37 Dodge 4 door that needs a good home.
