The show is all weekend and it is Free Oct. 23 - 25, 2009. On Saturday Night their will be Two special viewings of "Deuce of Spades" A "Exclusive Premiere Test Screening" of the film, at 7pm & 10:30pm. The reason for all the jibberjabber is simple. Your Invite is filled with repetitive "32 Deuce" references which tell a car guy that you aren't which isn't a bad thing. When sending an invite to a specific crowd use the lingo they use or don't even try it, just use plain English. In HotrodWorld, a Deuce IS a 32 Ford and only a 32 Ford only. Sure some guys call other makes of the year 32 Deuces, but they're not, and neither are Chevy IIs, for crying out loud.

lack of response may be due to the fact a lot of folks simply got sick of progress update threads here on the board on that flick every 29 hours or so . . . that movie might be the second coming of american graffiti, but i wouldnt walk across the street to see it if they were givin out free handjobs in the theater
Hey just be thankful it's usually dark in theaters. Fiddy ain't exactly pretty, and the thought of him getting a handjob made me want to puke.
I too admit to getting a little burnt out with HiboyGirl's "over promotion" of her film here on the HAMB (and on other forums) ... so I was kinda glad that Ryan "suggested" she move the discussions to a HAMB social group (DEUCE OF SPADES - A Period Hot Rod Feature Film). I kinda question why Faith chose to test screen her movie (set in 1950's Southern California) in Daytona Beach Florida ... I understand why she wants to put it in front of "generic car enthusiasts" (vice a group of Traditional Hot Rod purists) ... but aren't there any "Street Rod - Tri-5 - Muscle Car" type events in SoCal that she could have held the premiere? That all said, I will still pay to see it on the big screen ... there's a mom & pop's theater in my hometown that frequently shows Indie films.
