Denise has knack of getting more out of an event than most people.

It was an incredible collection. Thanks for sharing it with us.

  3. AWESOME coverage!
Thanks Denise - you certainly fill a void from the other side of the world
A few of us here were so interested in this auction
Would have loved to see it all stay together some how

Sorry I couldn't make it, I really would have liked to spent some time with you guys again. Megan should have been riding with Brian with those matching yellow glasses!

And I really appreciate the extra hug Megan gave Brian in my absense, but I really didn't like it when he hugged me and stuck his tounge in my ear!

Thanks Denise great event coverage! I've got to get to the West Coast for an event. If you're going to Hershey please stop by and say hello.

  9. great coverage, great event......wow.

When I grow up I want to be adopted by Moriarity, 4 times? surely there's some entertaining stories in that one point alone.....

  10. Thank you so much your pics and stories. I always enjoy them .Living in paradise is great but the hot rod world on the big island is a small one .Your adventures take me to some cool places. If you ever get to Hawaii let me know I will hook you up.

I'm still working on Saturday night and Sunday so stay tuned......It's taken alot longer then planned, actual work keeps getting in the way. :D

We could actually. We flew into town for the Auction and surround activities with that. The extra car stuff was just icing on the cake.;)

I'm finishing up the rest of the weekend right now. Wait till you see what I had for dinner on Sunday night....or tried to have for dinner as I brought the leftovers home on the plane.:D

Holy smokes, you had to did for that photo didn't you?:D

The Big Island is one of my favorites. Don't be surprised if one of these days we make it out there for a car event.

and the little Chevy he's owned a number of times as well.
He knows a bargin when he sees it.

Of course I would but alas I'm heading to the HunnertCarPileUp.

It was nice to meet you too Jim.

    [/quote]
Thanks for adding that Scott. I should have remembered what kind of car it was.

The hug was from Megan but the tongue was from me. :D

Yeah, I have a tendency to do alittle socializing at events like this.:D
Like others have said, you threw a hell of a party, thanks!

So we all head over to have dinner at a restaurant that’s located in one of the dealerships that Beau Boeckmann owns. I think it was called the Carriage House. It was pretty good. The best part was we had our own little room so it didn’t matter how loud or obnoxious we got….or how much Dave whined about being hungry;:D we were in our own little world.

From there we headed across the street to where Beau keeps his big boy toys.

As soon as I walked in I was in total amazement. I’ve seen some car collections in my life but this setting was spectacular.

Dave also took us behind the scenes in the shop area where he’s working on this Mustang for SEMA

And where I guess some of the Pimp My Ride stuff goes on. I had never watched the show so I had no clue

About this time we had all gathered back up toward the front glass and were just socializing when these two small children about 4 and 6 years old run up with their noses against the window. (keep in mind it’s probably close to 11pm) They are oohing and aahing, pointing to cars and actually calling the cars by the right names. We all looked at each other and were quite impressed. I walked closer to the window just to check and yes their parents were there in a car parked on the street. Anyway, Dave opened up the door and gave the little guys each a calendar which had a ton of photos of all the cars. You would have thought Dave gave them each an Xbox or whatever kids crave these days. They were so happy and grateful. They both said please and thank you. VERY COOL to hear now days.

We thanked Dave for the grand tour and since most of us wouldn’t be seeing each other for awhile there were hugs all around and everyone headed in their own direction. We called it a night and went back to the B&B wiped out from the day’s activities.

    Sunday coming soon.

    Thanks for posting the pics.

Glad to be the ride of choice for the Mid West HAMBassador :D Sorry that the heat shortened our cruise up. How did the videos turn out?
