Anybody who calls their car a "gasser" and doesn't spent more time at the track than on the street should be shot.

Gassers had dropped out of the atmosphere a before 1967. I think Ohio George or the Ramchargers(not a gasser) were probably the first with a radically tall car in 1959 or 1960 and the cars were starting to drop back to earth by 64 or 65. And not all cars were skyhigh in the era, we have a tendency to remember the most radical as the norm.

James, just reread your post and yea, the frontends stayed up in the air longer than the whole car. The back ends seemed to come down first and then the fronts.

We have decided to get ours ready for some racing next season and this is how it looks at the moment. I am really deciding on if I should put a straight axle under it or not. I would only be doing it in hope to loose front end wieght and I would not want it sitting real high in the air either. This is where it is at right now

Once most 'Chicks' hit their 30's they're into house guys career guys and portfolio guys not car guys...:)
It's either that or they're drunk or on meth
But homage to any man who has been lucky enough to score a mature woman who likes the car hobby

I would leave it, look up one of the baddest 55's on here, shakey Puddin. His was IFS into the nines before he wrecked it and went straight axle on the rebuild. It looked great with IFS too.

"In the key"... I Like that. I'm putting it on the high shelf next to saying "Hey mate!" and "Sano!"
