• Gates at 9am (registration at the gate is $35 includes car and driver)
• Spectators/Passengers $10/ea. (12 under, Police, Fire and Active Military with ID free)
• Heads up drag racing on an 1/8th mile track
• Basic tech inspection required. Helmets and seat belts for open cars. Helmets, long pants, jacket and closed shoes for mini-bikes/motorcycles
• Mini-Bike Madness Drags
• Live Band - Vendors - Lots of racing!

Hi, I'm Mike from Team BackMotor, and we are running exhibition/match-race at that event. We run a Big Block Chevy, mounted in the back seat of a Corvette funny car Not sure who our opponent will be yet, the guy with the '32 roadster (supercharged small block Chevy) that I was supposed to race, blew his engine at another event Hope to see y'all there, please stop by and say hi, we are friendly (don't bite) and love all the old cars, my first car as a kid was a 1968 Firebird, w/ a 400 4bbl and the twin scoops

What's your F/C run in the 1/8th?

 

We run 5.50 - 5.60 in the 1/8th (so far) We are building an A/Fuel engine for next year, to run w/ the newly reformed AHRA !!

I'll be there, I think I have the hambster sorted out after Mokan.
Ran it this weekend at "Run what ya brung" and it needs a little mor e tuning and we will be right.

I hope to be there as more than a spectator.
Should have the Merc running like I want by then. I want to see what kind of times that land barge will run in the 1/8. I am confident it will run faster than 25 or 30 seconds.
Pretty sure I won't have my mini-bike ready to drag though. Funding has fallen through. My job, or lack of it, sucks right now.

 

I will be there on the 48 pan, not racing it though

 

shit it don't look good for my mini either skip....i have that lack of funds too,,,but plan on runing the coupe all day,i'll give ya a run skip

Looks like the 'Southern Slingshots' to me, we have run w/ a couple of those guys before, they are a great bunch over there !! Looks like the weather will cooperate, with a cool down coming thru, just a few days before the 25th !! Should be perfect with temps in the 80's

 

can't wait !!!

 

Plan on being there as a spectator as I live a few miles from the track. Would be willing to help out as a volunteer if you have a need. If so, just e-mail me or PM me. Looking forward to the event.

 

Hope we'll see a lot more of you at the drags. We handed out lots of flyers at the Tampa Nsra show. Dust off your hot rod or minibike and join in.
