California Hot Rod Reunion, Who's Going?

Who's going to Bakersfield in October to the CHHR? I'll be there, I'm taking the family and were staying at the Marriot at the Convention center.I'd like to meet some fellow HAMBers while I'm down there.This is my first Reunion..

 

We'll be there sellin in the swap meet. Me and my Bro Dereck,(formerly of Los Infernos) his new band "The Lonesome ones" will be playin at Narducis on Friday night.Come on out to the show.I'll have some good deals on shop supplies (abrasives,ect) and some parts for sale as well.

 

I'll be attending from Arizona. Hopefully competing with my AA/FD, still have a few things to get done before I can take the car. otherwise, I'll be there as a spectator with one of the GTOs.
This is my favorite event of the entire year since 1992.

this will be my 4th trip to Bakersfield. I'm mad at myself for never going before after seeing what I had been missing. I plan on going every year from now on!!

I just got my Cool Laminate Passes from NHRA in the Mail just now!!

 

Tentative for me, I'm either going to go to Antique Drags in San Diego on the 4th or this. I've already got a trip planned to LA on the 24th, three trips @ 800 miles a piece down south in a month may be a bit much

 

The CHRR is my favorite event of the year, I'll be there bright and early Saturday morning.

 

i'll be there pushing again with the ranchero.

na i dont think i can swing both. gas is expensive these days!

Not to take business away from Barona, but, if I had to do one trip, B'Field would be it!

Luckily I have not missed one since the second reunion, whereas I have missed quite a few Antique Drags.

I have been to everyone and this year with my Cackle Car. Can it get any better than Firing up at the Hotel Friday Night, Push start & Cacklefest on Saturday and In & Out Burger on Sunday night for Flaming Burgers ? 6 to 8 fireups might "Light my Fire!". See you there.

I won't be there for the 1st time in 7 years...they moved the date back a week AFTER I booked my vacation last November, so will be going to The Rockabilly Rave in Vegas the week before.

I live in White Salmon Washington just east of Portland 57 miles..
If anybody from This neck of the woods is going and has a good truck to help me and my Veneys Vega get there,..give it a thought,..I pay for gas, food, your entry, get to help with the car if you want,..and there is an extra bed at the motel we are staying at if needed,..if your interested or know of a truck to use please contact as soon as possible.
