I'm always looking on the usual websites to see what model A's are selling for but I didn't think I would buy one now. I saw this one on craigslist and decided to take a look at it; now I own it. I think I got something good to start with. I'm pretty happy but now I've got to finish one of my cars - no more messing around.

I'm 98% sure it's going to be fenderless on '32 rails. Here are a couple cars that are inspirational.

Get it running (if it doesn't already) slap some Radir's on it and drive it like it is. That thing is awesome!!!

Wow, not only does it look like a great starting platform, it looks really complete. If I started with that, I'd have a hard time going to 32 rails.

Usually a good one is on craigslist for a short time; I was surprised that it was still available. The car was in Pico Rivera (East L.A.). The owner had a lot of projects and I don't think he had it very long. He was asking for more than I was willing to pay and he didn't accept my offer. He had to go home to meet a plumber but called me later that day after he got the bill, he was ready to deal.

Man! It gets better and better. Take a look at Chris's coupe. It's hard to say you're not 96% there.

Yep, she's a runner. It fired right up. I was told that the engine and transmission were recently rebuilt. The guy that the seller bought it from replaced the original engine with this one.

great score.............wheels, stance, hop up the banger, keep the fenders, and drive it! In a year you will have collected the parts you need to build it the way you want.............................if you aren't having too much fun with it the way it is!

    It's your car......(here it comes).....but -

That is one of the cleanest A's I've ever seen. A lot of cars are done fender-less because fenders are missing or they are in really bad shape. Fender work when building a car really can be expensive or time consuming but you already have very usable fenders.
You might want to think about keeping them and running a full hood or just the hood top.
I'd go easy on this one, you really have a start to build something different, (think Mike Zenor), than what most are building today. Nice score!
