This is our latest turn key build for a customer in Ark City, KS. This car had sat at another shop for 10 years. It came to us as a basket case. We fixed rust in the quarter panels, then welded the quarter panels to the body. Made a rear roll pan with frenched tag. Frenched 1950 Pontiac taillights and frenched headlights. I made a custom grill and shaved and de-chromed the sides. I chopped the top 3.5" in front and 4.5" in back, moved the back glass forward 2.5" and moved the C-pillar forward 4". Then I took out the B-pillar to make it a hard top. Pancaked front of roof 1.5" for a cleaner profile. Handformed the radius where the chrome had been all the way around the windows to make a cleaner look. Paint is a custom mixed purple suede.

Interior by Walt's Upholstery in Mulvane, KS
Striping by Shane Z in Rose Hill, KS
Mechanical assistance by Clark's Hot Rod Repair in Wichita, KS

Had a lot of fun building this one, great car, great customer.

Nice Merc! But how about some details about the custom 55-7 Chevy in the background pic!

The peach colored car in the background is a 1955 Chevy called Exota. It's an old show car from the late 50s, early 60s. It's now a new color and is being wet sanded and polished over the next week. Will post pictures of it as soon as it's done.

Nice build. I like the smoothness and the lines of the glass. Keep up the good Work.
