Well,I was there with one of my club members and a group of friends. We were towards the end of the park area where the Bonneville drag car was.We had the '68 Cadillac(White w. Purple fade off of the headlights),the '53 Plymouth Cranbrook(Grey with Strawberry Red scallops),and the '64 Cadillac Sedan at our camp(Black with White top).

My only suggestion is they do something about the roll in procedure next year.A few people including us were overheating during roll in due to the constant stop and go.Met Memphis Rat and saw a few other familiar faces.Quite a few people were taking pics, and I'll post some as they are sent to me.

[/SIZE] A 23-year-old man is being held in the shooting death of a San Bernardino resident found in a city park.
Officials were called around 11:40 p.m. Saturday night to Nunez Park off Fifth Street near Mount Vernon Avenue because of shots fired in the parking lot. When they arrived, they found Shaun Michael Wooten, 29, lying on the ground, injured with a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the San Bernardino County coroner's office.
Wooten was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
San Bernardino police Sgt. Dave Dillon said "some kind of dispute" led to the shooting.
"We don't know what it was about," Dillon said.
Police believe the only shots fired during the incident were those aimed at Wooten, Dillon said.
Officers began looking for a suspect, Dillon said. When the family of Elvis Wyatt, of San Bernardino, learned police were looking for him, he turned himself in. Wyatt walked into the downtown San Bernardino police station Sunday morning.
He is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on suspicion of murder.
Anyone with additional information on the homicide should call the Police Department's tip line at 909-384-5656.

Hours after officers responded to Nunez Park at 11:40 p.m. Saturday, 23-year-old Elvis Wyatt turned himself in. The San Bernardino man was booked into West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga on suspicion of murder.
Sgt. Dave Dillon said "some kind of dispute" led to the death of Shaun Michael Wooten, 29, but detectives are still unsure of the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
Witnesses were able to identify Wyatt for police.
The shooting occurred nearly three hours after crowds dispersed from the 3rd annual Bo Huff Rockabilly Route 66 Car Show, which was a 12-hour event held in the park Saturday and sponsored by Wyatt's father. Posters for the car show, held at 1717 W. Fifth St., advertised pinup girls, live bands and pompador contents.
Randy Wyatt was "escorting someone from the property when one of his sons came up and shot the victim," Dillon said.
Randy Wyatt could not immediately be reached for comment.

My brother went to the show and took quite a few pics. I will post them as soon as he gets out of the hospital. He was on his way home(Running springs) on his motorcycle and hit a patch of oil. He low sided his bike and ended up breaking his collar bone, scapula, and his back in two places. Looks like he'll be out of commision for a while.

  10. I was there, took a few pictures, Ill post them up. I also had a booth there...lots of people!. Heh, I was the only one or one of two gassers there. :)

If I'm not mistaken, the guy who owns the third one(Black Ford with red flames) is named Matt and is a really cool guy.Forgot to get his contact info.He came out from the Orange County area I believe and we were right behind him during roll in that morning.

My wife and I went and had a good time. We left about 9p.m. and things were mellow and everyone was having a good time. Most people were packing up and heading out. To bad about the shooting, I have met Randy and he seems like a nice guy. The show was fun for us but it was our first time to it. I have some pics that I will try to post later.
