Man, just caught this. Very nice work. Nice and clean and simple. Looks easy, but that is what takes the real skill, to make a hard job look easy. Seems like you got it down. Almost a shame to smooth that out and paint it up, but you know you got to do it. It would be sweet having a car like that knowing the metal work under the paint is just as good looking as the paint itself and not just covering up a bunch of sloppy work.

Ian, super nice work on the sail panels. whether or not I'm fully stoked on the 6 1/2" is one thing: the workmanship of what's being done looks hot.

I am extremely grateful for all the RAD comments. Just a couple years ago i remember watching people weld and i thought ...I wanna do that!!:)
And i'm just so stoked to be on the right track and 1000% i couldn't done it without the HAMB. I might spend too much time on here sometimes, but i sure make the best of it by studying people's tech threads and" how to" posts!! Thanx a bunch for that!! You guys rule.....What a great community!!:):):)

I dunno why everyone is surprised. I knew you had it in you long before you got your car in paint. ;). Damn good job.

I just checked back in on this one. What impresses me (apart from everything) is how neat it all is. What I mean by that is that there are very few cuts and the minimal number of filler panels. That suggests that a lot of thought has gone into the chop. I know I have a chop in my future and if I can keep it half as simple and clean as yours, I'll be very pleased.

I study the best threads and i try to replicate them!!:D

    thank you!!

absolutely , let's stay in touch!!

thank you soooooo much!! I did the best i could with the 51 and i spent so much time doing filler and when Jeff got the car he sanded almost all the filler, he said it didn't need as much!! I didn't know better!!

Thanx a bunch!! CLEANLINESS, Is the key to a good job, IMO!! And yes i did do A LOT of thinking before cutting, especially the B pillars!!

Thanx a lot guys!! Omar is stoked so that makes me happy!! It will definitely need a little filler, but less than my first one. That's the goal i guess, improve on each one!!

Lemmy is a BAD ASS!! :D He brings A LEAST a couple dead creatures in the house a week!!:eek:
