I didn't know everybody couldn't zoom in on them. Maybe you have to be using Firefox?

  7. I don't understand. I've been fighting (and loosing) on uploading pics here since I got on. On my system, some kind of windows, landseaandair's pics blow up just fine. All I have to do is click on the pic.

The bus may have been a cool sleeper but what has the XB-70 got to do with hot rodding?
    Are you kidding?
To this day it is both the most powerful and loudest aircraft ever built. Had it gone into production it would have been the second fastest production aircraft to this day.
Do your self a favor and read up on this incredible thing. It just happens to be my favorite jet aircraft, and is a great deal MORE impressive than the much vaunted SR-71, just as fast, 3 times the size and could match the payload of the B-52.
In fact had it not been for an errant F-104 pilot these things could have replaced the B-52!
BHfan, thanks for posting this pic!

that may be the case doc, but this thread keeps wandering off track. it was supposed to be car oriented only, no planes, bikes, pinups ect.... thats what shut it down for a bit.....

    It did.

    And it could happen again.

If the cool, On Topic Pics are drowned out by the Off Topic stuff again, it doesnt justify babysitting this Thread...

And what does payload have to do with Hot Rods anyway?

  17. here's a couple I took with my 1958 Brownie Hawkeye camera on black 'n white 120 film. that's right. no photoshop in this house- one is from my friend's '32 on hwy 13 going around 100 mph from the passenger side. the other is of Doug (furbisquit on hamb) driving his '51 MGTD roadster near Pt. Richmond.
