Well after two years and 2 months our 49 Ford is up and running! Most all of the work has been done my two sons and myself and little neighborly advice. We did have the local machine shop rebuild the flathead. And the exhaust shop re-did the exhaust after that didn't work out to well. Interior and glass were a challenge. It looks better in the pictures than in reality. As I said she runs! Here's the build:
Great Job Dragin!........ Its great to have another shoebox on the road!.............Now get cruisin!
Damn, I think that's a contender for most improved! My '49 didn't look that rough when I bought it and it doesn't look that great now that I've been working on it! Gotta love a subtle chop. As hard to do but far less obvious. Now let's get that engine purring, Dragin, and you'll be good to go!
Very nice, plus a coloRodo car. I also like the subtle chop and using the rear wing windows. I just picked up a 51 club coupe, and I hope it turns out as nice as yours. Great job...John
wow! Beautiful work. That car had a lot of work to do to come out so nice. And an 8ba to boot. I LIKE IT!
WOW! I love seeing those before and after photos. Another one that won't get turned into a toaster! Sweet!
