This is my new project...I bought this F100 for a while and I'm beginning to reform... I hope you enjoy this pictures...
It's always interesting to see car and truck models from other countries. In the states, they moved on to the "unibody" style in '61, but looks like the earlier design was still being used in '62. That orange Chevy in some of your pics is interesting, anything more on that one?

That chevys a crazy mix. looks like 60's bed and tail lights, 68-72 cab and maybe somekind of 60's international/dodge/toyota hood fenders grill...from the front with out the letters on it I never would guess thats a chevy...whats it got in it? what do the 80's chevys look like? I like'em both good luck
That trucks is a 2 Chevys '64 Brasil and the last is a '62 Chevy Brasil...every Chevys truck in Brazil using in line straigth 6...very hard engine... Soon i will put more picks of my F-Truck...
So I have to ask... Why did overseas American trucks use different sheet metal than the ones that were born over here? I could understand if the wheelbases were different, or they used bizarre engines... but wouldn't it be easier to just have the same thing across the board? They did the same thing with Willys pickups too... the trucks in Brazil looked more like Toyotas than Willys Jeeps. Actually... the more I look at South American makes vs. North American makes... the South American versions take on more of a Japanese look. -Chris
Wouldn't make any difference if the plant was located in what ever country you are referring to. They'd have their own tooling anyway. May as well make it different.
Wow...weirdness! I think I even read somewhere that they were still putting Y blocks in the Ford's into the ( ! ) 80's, or something like that, in South America/latin America?? Odd....
Hey Baldon! Its nice to see the cars down there. I used to live in Sao Paulo in the Perdizes section. I tried finding many hot rod shops in Sao Paulo, and lucky for me I went to many of them! I was amazed at the quality of cars down there! Who knows maybe when I go down there again, I'll see this truck around.

wow that is weird it looks pretty much exactly like a 1960 f100 but then not quite. the guages almost look like something out of a 55 or 6 f100. strange but cool. think of how many ppl would argue with you over the year if you had one of those in the U.S. Here is my 62 f100, No sir that is a 1960, No its a 62 brazilian.
