All that, and Megan, too?!?!?!! That's a no-brainer. I had the Plymouth out today on a 30-mile shakedown cruise, and am down to chasing a bad hesitation problem on steep hills. Once that is taken care of, Deer Lake here I come.

 

RAIN OR SHINE...Parking will be on stones and paved areas...no mudpits.

Huge 50/50 drawing, door prizes, MAJOR, MAJOR after party down the road at Pappy T's Bar...right next to the hotel where alot of you guys are staying. Rockabilly recording artists Jason and the Hellhounds are now booked to play the after party. Word is that the hotel is sold out but they are referring everyone to another right down the road. If you are coming in from out of town and plan on getting a room now's the time to call.

 

Just a heads up, I know its been mentioned but we need to instill the fact that this is a RAIN or SHINE EVENT. There is no rain date. Come one, come all. Most of the park is either paved or gravel, so you dont have to worry about getting muddy. Plenty of parking for spectators, easy in and out.

 

As some of you already know the host Hotel, The Microtel is sold out. The Ramada has two rooms left as of this post, (Ramada 570-622-4600). Also we are referring people to the Days Inn, which is only about 15 min. away. There # is 570-385-3853. If you can't get a room there PM me and I'll see what else is available.

If your in a bind, the Country Squire has a few left. No "Plaza on the Park" but cheap and the roof doesn't leak, 570-385-3559 or 570-385-3601.

In a real pinch the Fort Motel, 570-366-2091.

We just got Chris from UP IN SMOKE BBQ. To be another food vender at the show. More food and drinks YUM! YUM!

 

Hmmmm. Its our anniv. weekend. I'll have to see what the wifes says. Our life is VERY busy right now. But I'd love to come and hangout a little. I'll see what Brylan is up to!

 

NICE! Are you bringing your Caddy? I have a ton of pics from 2 of the Jalopy Showdowns. I love that Cad and I sure hope you sell it to me someday ;-) Unfortunately I just sold my Cad 500 engine since I had nothing to put it in. Hope to see you at the lake.

News Flash! Northmont recording artists , The Dead End Cruisers, have finally been signed for the afterparty at Pappy T's Pub. These guys do some serious Rockabilly and the like. Check out they're Myspace page or pick up they're newest CD for a taste.

Let's hope the weather gods are with us. The Borough has agreed to close streets as needed for additional parking. I'm not sure how many rooms are left locally. I know at least the three closest hotels are sold out. Check above for some other places to call.

how much for a vender spot?

 

$15 for a vendor spot, and that includes admission

 

I might add- Thats fifteen bucks for a private vendor, someone selling their own parts etc. Commercial vending spaces are fourty bucks. We only have a few commercial spots left, PM me if you want to reserve one. We will try to accomodate everyone who comes but late arrivals might not get paved areas. Try to get in no later than about 7:30 if you are vending.
