Event Coverage Did anyone get pic's from the Bo Huff show?

Just curious....Heard the slddnmatt,wiseguy,and Mercules was going.

I heard somebody got shot and died later at night. And somebody else got beaten real badly. What the hell is wrong with people.

 

i thought it was a nice show, more cars than i thought and some nice stuff. not as much ratty shit as i thought would be there. i took 3 pics and then my camera died. i bailed around 2 and the scene was pretty mellow. night could of turned different once the alcohol kicks in just like anywhere. there was a merc in the parking lot that i wish i could of got a pic of... Bob you would have barfed....

 

You couldn't save enough power for the "Barf Merc"? I'm disappointed...lol!

 

^^^^^^ i agree. as far as the cars go, it was much better than i had expected. i left about 7pm and it still seemed mellow.

 

my three pic contribution....me, the wife and the baby lincoln. all the ladies seem to like stephanies carriage alot. thing rides like a caddy over that ruff ground!!!

I was there.I hung out with Matt,his wife,baby lincoln and Merc for awhile.Had a good time and saw some cool cars.I left around 4:00.

I heard the shooting happened after the show in the parking lot.The show ended at 9:00 pm.I think the shooting happened at 11:45 pm in the parking lot.None the less, it's still tragic.

 

Ok good, at least it had nothing to do with the show. My wife, kids and I left around 8pm.

 

Could have had nothing to do with the show at all.That is a bad area at night in general.I saw the fight that happened as it happened right in front of us.And guess what,neither guy in the fight was a "rockabilly" or a "greaser".One was some Peckerwood (Could only tell by his shaved head and PECKERWOOD tattoo)and the other was just some guy,and the others that got involved were random people.We were trying to keep the idiots away from our cars and our people there with us,considering a few were young'ns.It took security about 10 minutes+ to respond after the radio call.

 

When Huff started this show I was really glad to get away from Route 66, but this year I don't know I got their around 10am and by noon there was trouble already brewin. Their were plenty of fellas their more interested in getting lit than admiring cars! Too bad, I wasn't surprised to hear about the couple of incidents. I think next year i'll leave the family @ home and just go with the boy's.

 

Normally I take tons of photos at car shows... I took TWO at Bo Huff's show.







Third time wasn't a charm for me, I seriously doubt I will go again. I just don't dig that scene, anymore.

 

Well,there were only the two incidents that I know of.The fight was one,and the shooting which wasn't related to the show was the second.Other than that,it was a peaceful,hot day with good times and great entertainment and tons of great cars.
