heavy or light a good 70% of your braking is in the front. my old motorcycle only weighed 450 lbs with a good sized disc on the rear. I wouldn't ride it without a front brake.

man I didn't go:(:(:(:( fucking driver had starter issues. new starter turned out to be shit. didn't figure this out until it was too late. I'm not sure if I made the first one, but the first one I went to was in Oakland (Alameda?) by the water and I've only missed 2 since.

my camera is looking at me going "hey. WTF? it's Billetproof today"

oh well. Bakersfield is next month.

c'mon Dave. post yer pics so I can cry in my beer tonight.

fink sounds like we are in the same boat. i run my truck every day and it decides to take a dump a few days before the show. thats how it goes i guess but now i gotta hear this dirt of sketchy cars. i mean i am used to seeing them at these shows but for more than one person to mention it lets hear it for those of us with cranky cars that would not let us attend

  13. I'm just gonna add them on here, hope thats cool Chris?

I have to say, this was the 1st Billetproof I had been to in 3 years, and the 'feel' of the show seems a lot more mellow, relaxed & friendly....There were a lot of cars I hadn't seen before, some VERY nice, others...well, lets just say, I didn't photograph them, there were several WTF type vehicles in attendance, but, on the whole, the Cool to WTF ratio in my opinion was very good...Thanks to Alan & the whole team.

Anyway...i was having some camera issues, so some of these came out a little grainy, and I'm on severe pain pills, so the fact I even made the show is pretty good....

    So without further ado....

    Billetproof...On Drugs

    Very extensive body mods,

    I don't like green on cars personally...However....

  20. Like I said above....There were a lot of cars I hadn't seen before, some VERY nice, others...well, lets just say, I didn't photograph them...I just look, take note...and walk on...the good to bad ratio was way up in the good end this year...I think there was maybe 50 "WTF were they thinking??" vehicles out of the 1000 there.

So, in all, a good show, and if you don't like em, don't look at em!

  21. There were even some VW's there

The lack of front brakes is scary on some of those rat rods. Also the quality of welds on important parts like suspension and steering was terrible. Overall great show, very laid back atmosphere.

Nice photos gents, thanks for sharing. Thanks for posting a variety of cars too so the rest of us can see what we missed. No excuses about not going here, it is a bit far for a weekend jaunt for me.
