I am going. May set up and sell junk er I mean kool stuff. LOL! If not I will take the '55. I have to show some support for The Professor & Hot Rod Scott. These guys go waaaaay out of thier way to promote this show and live the whole Hoedown lifestyle.

Just got back...it was a nice show..weather actually wasnt that bad at all...some sprinkles here and there ..mostly overcast. Great music and food...good vendors. Pretty sparse swapmeet. Lots of nice rides.

I was all fired up do go today and Mother nature kept getting worse as the day came. I had enough wet and mud at Macungie and 90+ mi in a light car with no roof is REALLY NO FUN in a rain. I didn't care if it would have been a mist but!

I am thinking of one in Wilkes Barre at Mohegan Sun. There is a nice one in Straustown Pa.too BIG flea market. Somthing for everyone they use it for the local town wide yard sale.

    didnt take many..

it was muddy..I was greeted this am by a wicked sounding early 60's ford pickup attempting to pull a late model chevy van and trailer outta the mud..

then I decided to power park.. on yonder far side of the "sippy hole"

this 54 chevy caught my eye.

and of course.. the only other "woodie" there...

was one of my favorite pontiacs.

Pam and I are planning to go today for a little bit, then to the Antique Power and Equipment Show, then to Rockledge Night Out. Long day.

Hey, thank you!! to all you people that made our 10th year of our Hot Rod Hoedown a GREAT one and for the cooperation to deal with the rain and the mud - all is good with Adventureland - everyone stepped up to fill ruts that were made and pick up after themselves - thanks again - come out and see the Rod & Custom Car-nival @ The Philadelphia Motorcycle Show Oct 9 - 11, 2009 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA - and to all The Hellions in Texas and beyond - it's all about the common interest in old hot rods and customs, really, because stock sucks!!! - We hope you have you have the same growth, success and longevity at your Texas Hot Rod Hoedown, but maybe we should confer on artists. right?
