I'm looking for some sources for BB Cadillac parts and speed equipment.

I have a '79 425 that I would like to find a stick bellhousing and flywheel for, to match a T-5 up to it. Any suggestions?

    Is Olds/Pontiac/Buick the same bellhousing?

Not extremely helpful, but I get the feeling that a T5 would have powdered gears floating around in the case after the 1st drop of the clutch... 425 Caddy mills have a substantial amount of torque...

agreed, I've personally seen a 350 break a t-5 3 times. They dont do too well with anything built.

So what is recommended for a transmission behind a Cad? I know that some of the T-5's are lighter duty; but thought that there were T-5's that are heavier duty, for some of the V8's. Whatever transmission I end up with won't be treated badly, just a street car.
