Doesn't matter what he paid, he wanted it and now owns it. Good score!!

Back when I got mine, over 35 years ago, it was unusual to have a nice '32 5w. Now, if you don't have a pristine example of a 50's-60's magazine historic one you aren't even in the running.:eek::cool::D Actually it's quite amazing. I looked for a few years for mine and it seems they are right next door now.

Congratulations! You gotta be patient. I waited 30 years for mine. First saw it in high school and now I'm retired but, it's in my garage.

well,I had to let two cars go just to put myself in a position to swing the deal. a '29 A PU and a '51 ford. Great cars, and I hated to see them go,but they are not '32's!

I lost a car by not telling the owner I wanted it. Sold a bunch of stuff and had half of what he wanted, went back to make a 50% deposit but it was sold. Told him about it years later and his was really pissed i didn't say something at the very begining, he would have liked to had me get it. Lesson learned, ifyou see something you want tell the owner.

I'm still going through all the parts that came with the car. Here's a late '60's chromed straight axle/hairpins set up that never got installed on it. I'm not sure of the manufacturer, look familiar to anyone?
