    Another tiki.

And a little before & after. A good friend of mine is an avid spear-fisherman, and I go inspired to do a spear-fisher tiki. So the before pic shows the beat-up piece of palm I found at the dump (next to my $30 craigslist score - the red & white late 50's rollfast cruiser), and after is the spearfished so far (haven't done the face yet, just prepped the head and rough cut the body with a chainsaw). Note the ULTRA REALISTIC cardboard fish on the spear.

  11. Kirk, that is awesome. I thought for a minute it plugged into the wall which would add to it's awesomeness.

I know I posted two of these at the end of the art show last week but it was pretty late. Been busy with OT stuff still. I did get the last of the 3 (the little blue dude) done so...

Here are some designs I did for some guys in the 1/150th assault helicoptor battalion. They were fans of my work, and asked if I could help them out. This particular group fuels the birds, and they're known as the gassers, hence the '55, and the fuel truck. I am really stoked about it. It's kinda like when guys would write to Walt Disney during WWII and ask them to do insginias and nose art. I am so honored.

Nice Kirk! I like it. I keep trying to read it like there is a hidden message or something.

Django - love the gas truck one the best!

Nice one KCsldz ! Another great Friday show, something I always look forward to.
I'd like to thank all the artists who post their amazing work to this thread on a regular basis. It inspires many of us to get a little bit more creative and to bump up our own work. It sure has made a difference in the way I take pictures.

    Great show as usual!

Thanks man! I grew up over in "crap" Rapids, I miss the westside!

If nothing else I don't like doing the same thing twice :D Every piece you can find something new that works, and just add it to the arsenal!

erok805 & virtualvanner - Thanks - this is phase 1. all I can get done last night. needs color and some line refinement to clean things up.

WilieG - that is a damn fine doodle!

Kirk - more pics of the "block frank". I'll get out my secret message decoder ring. I need to know what secrets are hiding within!
