Some of you may have already heard about the Icons of Speed and Style auction September 26th at the Peterson Museum, but if not this link worth a look just to drool a bit. A lot of this stuff has been tucked away in the basement of the museum for a quite a while, so it's almost worth the $80 entry price just to hang out around them before they disperse to various collections. This is just a small batch of the headline cars of course. http://www.sportscardigest.com/icons-of-speed-style-auction-preview-rm-auctions So, if you had ~500k burning a hole in your pocket, which one would be in your garage? My gut reaction is the Khougaz roadster.... but then again...
The Vette's mags need some polishing! Yeah, either the Khougaz '32 or the Mazmanian Vette would be hard to pass up if I had stupid cash. Or the Valley Custom '40. Or the Tognotti coupe. Or..or..or...
You're right, my mistake. Also, I searched 'Whitworth' and saw that this has been posted before. Feel free to delete Mods!
"Almost worth?" Of course it is, and that's $80 for one catalog which gets two people in the door. Split that with a friend and you're both there for $40 each. I'll see ya there.
