Anyone ever have a nightmare about their car?

Driving Down the highway, running about 80+, i go to take the off ramp and the non-power, single line brakes go out on the cad, i get that hand brake as quick as possible but it fry's, then at the end of the ramp the intersections full of cars, i plow through a good ammount of them then T-Bone a tanker truck with 110, Boom.

Then there is the one where Xzibit gets a hold of it thinking its the shitty car needing pimping, you know how that ends.

 

I keep haveing a dream where my wife tells me to fix up a car for her, so i go out to the garage and find about 6 cars just ready to be built up with most all the parts there. I really wish i could find where that garage is

 

Sold mine to a guy in sweden, been having nightmares about something happening to it before I can deliver it to the docks ever since.

 

i had a dream that i was crawling through a junkyard over old rusted cars, and looked over a fence and found a 31 ford cab. In the dream, i hopped the fence, and walked all around it, and was starting to figure out how i could steal it when i woke up.

I tried to fall back asleep so i could.

 

I had a dream that I was scrounging around a junkyard and found a clapped out old foreward control custom van. It looked like it was made out of a corvair but it was sloped nose like an old astro chopped and channeled. It had a mid engine v8 that was gone... just the hole in the floor where the doghouse had been. Corvette rearend... wheels were gone...To drive it you reached down under the top lip of the low grill grabbed a latch like on a washing machine and pulled up. the windshield opened like a rear hatch and as it did the dash butterflyed in the middle like gullwing doors and the steering column swung out of the way. you stepped in, turning around and sat in the seat and pulled the hatch down and the dashlet and steering wheel swung into place before you. the dash didn't go all the way side to side but was more of a center mounted T shape. in case of an accident it looked like the seats and controls were mounted to an energy absorbing slide mechanism that allowed the driver area to be pushed back safely in a bad frontal collision however the front of the thing was solidly built. it didn't look like there would be much intrusion other than through the glass. It was a wierd dream. I looked it over for hours...every detail then decided on buying it. after asking the yard owner about it he got real excited where I saw it as if I had pulled excalibur from the stone. We walked back to where it was and it was gone and I woke up talking to myself like "it's got to be around here somewhere"

 

Had to be up for work by 5:00 Woke up at 6:30 and thought "crap I'm late" threw on my cloths real fast, ran downstairs where Mom,Dad,and the rest of the family were eating dinner...

Had a dream about winning several grand on a scratchoff and taking it to the bank depositing it. I woke up.."oooh saturday what will I do today. I know I'll pickup the parts to put my engine back together and get that done. I went to Napa, had them pull everything. swipe the card...no money

 

I've had bad dreams about driving and hitting the brakes and there be no brakes. Funny thing is, the master cylinder lid on my truck leaks. Ever since I had those dreams, I check my brake fluid on a regular basis (like once a week.)

 

Oh Hell Yes !! I dreamed it was done and waiting for me to drive the shit out of it !! And then I woke up and it was just how I left it !!! >>>>.

 

I have one from time to time that usually goes along these lines: I suddenly remember that I have some of my cars stored in a warehouse. So I go over and it turns out that my 1964 Dodge 440 post car, my OT 1970 Charger, 440 4-speed Dana rear and some others are sitting undisturbed I guess since I was a kid . Of course the Charger fires right up and I'm driving it around like I'm 18 again. Then I wake up. Man, if only it were true.

 

I puled off the road one night and turned sideways on the seat and dozed off. i heard a horn and woke up franticly grasping for a wheel and a shifter and screaming at the corn I saw out the passenger window.

 

I have the same fricken dreams that I still own all the cars that I had!

i used to dream of going to the swap meet and seeing "pieces" of my car being parted out, fender hear, hood there ....the dream guy got beat very very bad....

 

Well my deal was,int a dream , it happen I was going to Lauflin nevada, I was driving my 1966 f-1 pick-up hauling a trailer with my 1916 center door T , I was in the middle of the desert driving and I chuck my cigarete but out the window, and it landed in the bed of my truck, I had all my luggage in plastic bags and the bed of the truck caught on fire, I had to stomp out the fire and the pant legs of my jeans all burned.man I looked like a refugee from Giligan,s Island. any way it gets better, I am on my way back and the rear axle on my truck sheared off , so I ended up on three wheels, by now my trailer came un hooked and was passing me up with my model t on top , I look in the rear view mirror and their is two tractor trailers braking with their trailers sideways! I was able to bump my trailer into a sand dune and I just rode it out without hitting my brakes for if I had I would have flipped over. The tractor trailers barely missed me and when I got out their was a 8" ditch 3 miles long, and my 9" rear end was half ground off. Hey why do you think my buddies call me magoozi, as in mr. magoo. Shit always happens to me but I allways manage to walk away.

 

Here, another one guys , I had my 33 phaeton in Buck´garrage, some bright freind of his left two sherman tank engines blocking the garrage door, so I couldent get my car out. The cedar fires hit us , and when I went too see what was left of my car, It and a 50 olds coupe , that had a Jesus hanging on the rear view mirror , was all that was left. the concrete floor around my car completly burned , I guess what saved my car was that the whole front part of the building blew off, but everything else was a puddle. Buck lost aboat 10 cars, and those tank engines looked like mush. Man I must have some good Karma.

 

dreamed i had Norma Jean out one nite(a bit OT 69 Custom10). stopped at a light in kingwood, and there was a local honda meeting at the burger joint.
i tightend it up a little and side stepped the clutch. (this truck is an automatic in the real world with a mild 327) when i pulled 2nd and let out of the cluch it made a bang and started knocking. i pulled over and lifted the hood and the damper was laying off to one side. somehow i drove it home.

woke up about puked and decided i need to put that three speed in it. haha

 

For those of you who have been to Wichita, I am sure you know about the Exit ramp at Kellogg and north bound 135, the one that takes you from 135 to West Kellogg, I am exiting 135 in Mama Said about a bazillion feet in the air when a Big Foot truck also sitting eighty two feet off the ground runs me off the ramp, and I wake up screaming taking a nose dive into the sewer below!!!! That one still runs cold chills up and down my spine. I avoid that turnoff as much as I can to this day!!!!

I just have finshed the book Christine....... I was thinking of trading my car ...... the dream started she would not start /run .... cause she knew I was thinking of trading her ..... the car pulled up for the trade and Miss Jones my Ford went ape shit ..... slamming into the other car over and over ..... she completely F@cked the other car up then backup and pulled into my garage ......Her front end looked like Christine's in the final scene of the movie all ripped up and evil ...... Man I really to stop eating Mexican spicy food before I go to bed......

So to tell ya Miss Jones is not up for trade

 

I have those as a recurring dream! I used to have as many as 9 cars at once, but always on the same piece of property. The dream goes like I need to sell off a car or resurrect one to use and I can't find it. And they're always mint when they were parked.

I recently dreamnt that I had finally collected all my parts for my custom, and as I started posting pics of my build, everyone here decide traditional rods and customs werent cool anymore and you all trashed me for not trading in for a ricer/tuner car.

 

I won the lottery one night and all my cars were done, lookin fine and ran like a swiss watch. I was looking for the next project with Jay Leno and the wife said " No more dammmmm cars and tell your little friend to go home."
I also looked like Charles Atlas. Then the alarm went on and I've never been right since.

 

i always have the same reacuring dream where im in a parking lot going like 5 mph and dont have any brakes or steering and im just mashing the brakes so hard im lifting out of my seat, and im just slowly about to hit a parked car, recently had a cooler one where i was hauling ass in a big rig but the breaks went out in a big dirt lot that just drops off into a lake, so i pull the e brake and do a bunch of spins and survive

one that really creeped my out was that a worked in a dark dingy junkyard and i had to like X ray cars to find dead bodies and body parts that where still in them

 

OK! Right there...the "First 500" HAMBers would have realized it was a nightmare and woke up laughing!

I had this nightmare that I lived in a new house and ride a bicycle to work. At work I have half a tuna sandwich with some granola. After I get off work I mow the lawn and play croquette in clean cloths but then I wake up screaming nooooooooooooo and I'm back in my old house surrounded by empty Mt. dew bottles, Taco bell wrappers and every car I've ever owned
