  1. Thanks for the invite...Glo and I had a GREAT time!! Sure nice to see all of you again. Man, what a turn-out!!

Sam - a word to the wise... better change your locks! I was trying to figure out a note on the kitchen table: Call SoS, re: "GLO BIRD" now I know why. I'm sure Glo and Stef used more $ in gas than the stuff they brought back.

You gotta try to make it next time. If they do this again in a month or so, Jesse and I should be able to go. With any luck we'll even have two extra gears. :D

Thanks for the invite, guys. Had a great time and had an excuse to get the '32 going again after the carb. fire. Hope to do it again.

  8. Nice meeting you Waldo. If you get a chance send me some pics of your 57s.

  9. Should we try to park all together? Last year the parking "directors" were azzholes-TOLD you where to park, I don't know how to go about getting our own preferred "club" spot.

So the photographer is a really busy guy with trying to get school squared away so he can attend an art school but I am as impatient as all of you.
I hope my pix from the day will help while WE wait. :D

I can speak Rushvillian, allow me to translate, he meant to say his truck is back on the road!!

And for the bad news, stupid kid in 4x4 pickup pulled out in front of Pops on the way home. Pops nailed him just behind rear wheel. He's okay but the Studebaker is done for. :(:(

  18. SUX! Glad your Dad is OK.

AARRGGHH!!! That really bites. Glad your dad's OK though. Cars can be replaced easy enough. Dads, not so easy.

I’m echoing here, but good thing your Pops is OK. I read in a magazine that no car is truly dead with all the skill in this hobby and shortage of metal. I saw some really great cars in your area this weekend at the Route 66 car show (I took my nephew), and at the Lunch a few weeks back. You sure it can’t be reincarnated? Just ask'n.

    I'm thinkin its terminal.

Everything in front of firewall is bent including the drivers side framerail.

(edit) The passenger headlights and trim are still straight. Whooo-fuckin-hooo.

Not sure what gonna happen to it, I dont have the heart to take her apart just yet.

Sad ain't the word! She's gonna sit for a while, but we'll make a "Phoenix" of some sort; 'cause the engine will still turn over. I don't think it's hurt badly. Just sayin'!

  29. Whew! Proof that you're okay... the index fingers work!!!! So glad it wasn't worse Charlie. Like you say, it will rise again in some form. Too many memories not to. Here's a pic of the "Outspokesman for a Generation" at the Rust Revival last May.
