may not be able to get there untill 2pm . will i miss anything or when will registration end?

 

there's no real registration for the show aspect. I'm sure that you can squeeze in and run the strip if you want to also. Mike from NTR (the fella that posted before you) hopefully can jump in on the topic of if a late arrival will effect drag participation. The Air-Ride Technologies course will be set-up and rolling also. I hope to see a bunch of cars go through it. Stuff will be going on into the evening/nite. No worries

 

What Jon said - the show aspect goes on all day, and even after we start eliminations in the two drag classes we will still run time trials between rounds. Drag racing/ time trials will probably wrap up around 6 ish, maybe a bit later. The Autocross is scheduled for 11-4. Gonna shutdown around 9 pm.

This coming weekend!!!!!!!! Hope everybody is getting excited and getting ready for a good time.


If your lady friends have any interest in being a flag girl for the event, have them be prepared the day of the show. There will be sign-ups in the hospitality suite of the timing tower the day of the show.

Also- don't forget the Tricycle races. Bring your 3-wheeled contraptions of death and destruction out and pit them against other equally strong legged opponents.

This is going to be a blast. Help us spread the word this week and lets make it a great event.

Schedule of events:
Racing begins 10 am, Concludes by 6:00pm. Gates close 9pm.
Car/Bike show: All Day
Diamondback Tires Burnout Contest: 6:00 pm.
Air Ride Technologies Auto Cross 11 -4
Show Awards late afternoon, Flamethrower contest 8pm (ish).
No show classes, trophies awarded at the discretion of the Road Devils Car Club.
All Contest and Flag Girl sign-ups in Hospitality Tower Suite 103
Event/Facility Information:
Participant entry includes Drag Racing trophy class and Auto Cross race entry. Drag racing is 1/8th mile. Get your tech card at Gate A, all participants must go through tech, located at the north end of the pits. Helmet required in open cars. A limited number of loaner helmets are available in the Hospitality Tower, suite 103. Long pants and least short sleeves required in all race entries, sweat pants may be purchased at the Finish Line Store. Oh, and NO drinkin’ and racin’.

Time Trials: Unlimited number of time trials throughout the day. You will have a choice of Flag or Tree start, according to the session called.

Eliminations: All eliminations will be “ET” style, with dial in and breakout rules, 5-tenths full tree.

CAMPING: No overnite camping in the track, there is camping immediately east of the track entrance.

ATM: ATM located in the Finish Line store, NW corner of the pits.

If you have any questions please find a track official or come to Race Control, Suite 103 in the Hospitality Tower.
And, Most Important of all, HAVE FUN!

National Trails is Running Street Class Races tonight. Stop out this evening and get a feel for the track then be ready for saturday. Make a weekend of it! Plenty of hotels nearby and a campground right next door to the track.....can't beat that for cheap and easy.

remember basic tech..... check you got all your lug nuts, a radiator overflow, a seat-belt, good rubber, bolts where bolts should be, etc. Common sense requirements here, not real difficult.
