Come on over. I will be out in the shop more during the day when it cools off. If the garage door is open feel free to come on in.

I finished the tank prep and finally got to install it. I also made a license bracket and a light mount.

You've finished a ton of stuff since these pictures were taken (10 months ago), so getting the fog light wired and the moundax flushed should be no problem:) Looks great Mike.

Have you been drinking???? It seems like so long ago when that picture was taken. I think it's about time for an update on your car. At least post one current picture on this thread.

Worked on the car while the little one was napping. I installed the windshield moldings and the windshield. I thought I ordered new pivot arms but I can't find them so I guess I will order two more. Put the new header wood in. That went fine after a trip to Ace for the correct bolts. I also got a chance a few days ago to install the emergency brake handle and cables. Slowly but surely this car is getting done!!!!

  14. I LOVE Tudor sedans! And yours is looking great! How much is your chop? It looks perfect. Who did you get your wood kit from? krylon32 told me about a guy who is making a reproduction of the top channel out of the LeBaron Bonney straight pieces of extruded aluminum with out kinking the corners and they are supposed to look very good. I think he gets $350 for a coupe and $375 for a sedan. I will need a few of them myself.

The chop is 3 inches. I don't remember where the wood kit come from. I think there are only a couple suppliers that make wood parts. I would really like to know who makes that top trim. I would buy one.

    Mike,
I love your sedan. Thanks for the updates. Do you have any more pics of the whole car sitting on the ground you could post? I can't get enough....

I am at work today. I will be working on it tomorrow. I think I have recent pictures of it on the ground. If not, it's time to take some.

Just found this post, very nice work. I'll be referring to these pics when the time comes to tackle the same jobs on my Tudor.

I think the goal today will be to tie up lots of loose ends. I might try to re-fit the hood. First thing is first though....a little family time.

Great looking ride, the look is dead on. I have my eye on one around here, just a pile of rusty parts though. I need to get my boys out in the garage.

We'll see. I would really like to drive it. That's the whole reason for building it. It will be a 11th hour decision.

Wow, awesome tudor. I am just starting a build of my own, got an original chassis, grille shell and body only at this stage. Will be running a 327, with chrome steelies and wide whites. The photos of yours look very nice. Good luck with finishing it.:)

When doing the top material, did you heat it or just lay it on and tack it down? I have seen other tops done and they did the job outside and let the material heat up so that when it cooled it got nice and tight. A friend of mine did his top in his garage with out heating it and it looked great until it got warmed up in the sun and he started driving it.
    Really nice looking car though.

Perfect stance and color combo. Hope my A tudor will look that good one day. Keep the post filled with progress shots.
