Hey Mel! Didn't really know Booster..I may have met him once. I thought he had a gold roadster or RPU? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else? At any rate, the story I got is the story I wrote. Without knowing the car I can only go by what I'm told. The new owner did buy it from a widow and i had heard that Booster had died, but I never made the connection. Booster was the guy that had lost a bunch of weight..correct? Was he tied into Ol Skool as well? I think he was at a Jalopy Showdown a few years ago..

Great to see Jason Sheets' T roadster featured, he currently is working on a 34 ford 3 window coupe which is also awesome. His dad also builds some very nice stuff.

That one almost never saw print when the memory card I was using had a catastrophic failure! I was able to have the images recovered and..VOILA! Who knew memory cards had a shelf life? Damn I love film.

Jason builds some killer stuff and that '34 should be amazing. Stay tuned.

Billetproof northwest was full of traditional hot rods and customs I guess the writer was at a different show.

Ricky, Can I tell people that I know you??? I meant to hit you up about that. It got featured with Pat's Model A. Shelley's Plymouth looks great...

  8. Yeah Spike, that was the guy. He was a giant... he lost so much weight I didn't reconize him till he told me it was himself. Real nice guy... lost his life while flying around his town in a new Prowler I think with his brother in law. Brother in law lived... Booster didn't. I know he owned a few cars... He was always a nice face to see.

Yea guys, Booster owned the car and about 6 other hot rods and customs... not to mention a Billy Lane chopper custom built for his large frame...he died in his Viper less than a 1/4 mile from his home. He was a good dude and a true biker/hot rodder! I dont know if he knew who built the '34, when he first showed the car to me, he said it was built in 1959 but Booster allways like to bust your balls so who knows!! WHO CARES right!!, he's gone and his family is without him...as far as the car, I think its cool as shit and was the car that inspired me to get a '34 Ford... BOOSTER R.I.P GODSPEED! ~Eric

Is Jason Sheets a HAMBer? I'd like to see more of his car.

He isnt a HAMBer, but I think he gets on here every once in a great while.

BTW, he doesnt have his T roadster anymore, he sold it a few months ago.

He has been working on his 34 3 window which is equally impressive.
