anyting of interest in northeast??

yep....odd title but Im going to us in the fall again
touchdown the 22 sept and going back oct 15
carlisle and hershey is already on the list but any other carshows/meet/dragracing??
also some junkyards would be of interest
ideas??

Hey Stig, you're in luck. The Altar Boys show is the one not to miss. If you could stay a couple more days, the G-o-F is great too.

Aces & Eights, Rumble to the Lake, October 10th, Eastern Pa. See the thread here or go to the site, Acesandeightscc.net. Very HAMB friendly show with a good afterparty. Same weekend as Hershey and not far away. Hersheys over by Saturday anyway.

If you're really big on Pontiacs (like your screen name) you should go visit Lou Callasibetta's Old Stillwater Garage, in Stillwater, NJ. Lou's a great guy, who restores, and customizes cars, and has a great collection of cars himself. Famous pinstriper Alan Johnson is close to Lou, but travels a lot, but if you catch him at home...try to visit him!
Lou's up northwest Jersey. My small shop is in Central eastern Jersey. If you're in the area on a Saturday (not Carlisle weekend) you're welcome to visit. Not a lot going on since I finished the Kopper Kart, and unfortunately, it's stored at co-owner Vic Collins' place, but I do have a custom or 2 in the works, if you're into that sort of thing.
Junkyards around NYC and in central, north Jersey are slim pickings for old cars any more. Most need to make money in our area, and usually only have cars 10 year sold or newer. gotta go out into PA to see old stuff.
