More 2009 Invasion Car Show and Los Straitjackets After Party pics!

Another HUGE thanks to the HAMB community for coming out to our 2nd Annual THEM! Invasion Car Show on Labor Day weekend! There were some great cars in attendance, rockin' bands like Transylvania Holeshot, Dan Family and Flaming Hellcats, along with the Dynamite Dames and American PinUps and just a really great vibe going on all day.

Not to mention all the great vendors that were participating, there was plenty to do for everyone in the family.

I wanted to add some additional photos from the day time as well as from the evening with Ruby Revue and Los Straitjackets! They rocked the house, and are one of my new favorite bands!!

Also, a big thanks to my wife for shooting some pictures at the car show while we were running around crazy! She also kicked ass at the Straitjackets show! She's in the red shoes in the 2nd to last pic.

It was an amazing day because of all of you! Can't wait to do it again!!

 

Bitchin!! Straight Jackets steal another show!! They are like no other!! The area the show was in looks like a hip hood. Lottsa killer cars.That frosty cart rocks also. I see Got Gas's 57 Plymouth Suburban flaunting its fins with the beer cooler out back! Atta boy Danny. The burly-q ladies are some stone foxes! Arriba!! Thanx for sharing the cool pix. Looks like it was a great show ,too bad I was out of town and couldn't attend. I'll be there next year though.

Great car show & one of my favorite bands also! Saw the Straitjackets last May in St. Louis & they are supposed to be at an northeastern Okie casino Halloween night. I got my buddy Marty hooked on the Los Straitjackets & he made them this groovy 3D sign & gave it to them at the show.


Jason "Teen Beat" Smay, Danny "Daddy-O Grande" Amis and my buddy Marty & his kid Chaz. I think the masked men were diggin' their new prize. Talked with Jason a bit after the show. Sounds like he's quite the gearhead himself.

 

I've been a fan of Los Straitjackets since day one...

Yep,Jason lives in Rochester,NY..he is a gearhead..has a sweet 32 coupe and a 64 chev.he also plays in another rockabilly band the Highrisers..

That Green Chevy pick-up is sweet... I'm guessing that is the same one that I heard won best truck. Well placed. Congrat.s to the owner. I wish I had gotten a chance to see it before now.
